Program

Description

The program offered by the New Destiny Treatment Center involves an intense and well-structured schedule in order to accomplish its mission. The daily schedule begins with a 6:30 a.m. rising time and concludes with a 10:30 p.m. bedtime.

The schedule includes classes in psychological education, substance abuse education, twelve-step recovery, spiritual formation, and GED readiness/computer literacy.

Other services provided include daily group counseling, weekly individual therapy, recreational activities, medical services, urinalysis drug screening, and case management.

A client may not have visitation or receive phone calls for the first thirty days after being admitted. After thirty days, family may visit on the scheduled day and time and attend our chapel service each Sunday at 10:00 a.m. A client is not permitted to leave the facility for ninety days, except when accompanied by staff for medical or court appointments. When sufficient progress is made, the client may be permitted one overnight pass every other weekend.

Drug testing is administered on a weekly basis as well as randomly. One positive drug test is grounds for dismissal.

Clients are expected to perform work assignments each day as part of their daily treatment routine. Each client is responsible for his own program.
